ALUCOBOND® surface finishes available for your project
All the standard surface finishes / colours on the current Alucobond colour charts require minimum order quantities of 500m2 per colour and width when it is laminated to the standard polyethylene (PE) core material.
Where the combustibility requirement for the Alucobond cladding on a project requires Alucobond PLUS the minimum order requirement is 1000m2 per colour and width.
Special surface finishes not shown on the current colour charts requires minimum order quantities of 2000m2 per colour and width.
Please note there are occasionally exceptions to order quantities above but they usually come at a cost premium – so please enquire.
There are certain colours available in quantities less than 500m2 because they are held in Auckland ex stocks. These colours are usually “500 Silver Metallic”, “101 White 16” and “502 Grey Metallic.” We carry stock in a range of sheet sizes for these colours and core materials because they are popular and we have no risk in warehousing slow moving finishes for excessive periods of time.
There are also instances where we carry more colours ex stock – please feel free to enquire.
Alucobond material is normally available in 1250mm wide sheets up to 5000mm long. 1000mm and 1575mm wide sheets may also be available but may not necessarily be manufactured for all the surface finishes on the colour charts.
Please note that the different surface finishes and core materials in the Alucobond range also vary in price as follows in order of cost:
• Alucobond Standard Colours (solid and metallic) at the lowest cost and most available.
• Alucobond Standard Colours (special effect colours)
• Alucobond NaturAL
• Alucobond Spectra and Anodised Look colours
• Alucobond TimberAL
Upgrading Alucobond to Alucobond PLUS also increases its cost.
If we do not have sufficient material ex Auckland stocks for a project’s requirement ordering lead times ranges between seven and sixteen weeks from order confirmation. The lead time is determined by cost, the Alucobond factory location and demand for certain surface finishes. Less than seven week lead times are achievable at a more significant cost premium.

ALUCOBOND®
Spectra colours
Fascinating nature
The natural beauty of mother-of-pearl, its iridescence
and lustre inspired the creation of the
ALUCOBOND®
spectra colours.
Fascinating effects of light when reflected on
different materials and surfaces have been the secrets of nature for a long
time. We admire, we adore and we use these effects as symbols of status,
wealth and to express our affection.
Fascinating surfaces
By applying the science of reflection, absorption and interference of light,
we created the spectra effect on
ALUCOBOND®.
Special pigments embedded in the surface coating break the light into a
spectrum of colours which become visible when viewed from different angles.
Changing the colour and lustre of the pigments in combination with different
colours of the base coat creates enchanting colour effects.
ALUCOBOND®
spectra colours will give the special finish to your project to make it look different, to make it stand out, to make it a landmark to be talked about –
for years to come.

Spectra are special effect colour coatings which create a change in colour when viewed from different directions. The use of high quality paint systems applied in a continuous coil-coating process ensure excellent durability even in extreme weather condition.
Fascinating Worlds
Themes from nature such as irridescent colours or the lustre of mother-of-pearl where the inspiration for ALUCOBOND® spectra colours.
Light, which is broken up to a greater or lesser extent by the individual surface layers, plays the main part in all these effects. Interaction between light and material, reflection, diffraction, refraction and absorption are the secrets of colour effects in nature. These colour effects have fascinated, motivated, triggered emotions and had an effect on man's feelings since time immemorial.
Fascinating surfaces
ALUCOBOND® spectra colours are based on the same principle as natural colour effects. Pigmentation effects add new dimensions to ALUCOBOND® spectra colours with their lustre, depth and colour gradient. Depending on the type of pigment and viewpoint, different, enchanting colour effects with highlights and
iridescent colour gradients appear.
With ALUCOBOND® spectra colours you create a number of personal impressions and increase the effect of the object being looked at.
